This out dated, 20 year plus bathroom is an interior room.  There is no natural light.  Even with the vanity lights on it was still very dark making the space confining and depressing.  The owner could hardly use this space because it was small, dark and inconvenient.  She said she spent as little time in there as possible and kept the door closed. 

 But now, with a 22” sun tunnel, we have let the light shine in.  This has made such a dramatic change and has made the homeowner very happy. We completely gutted the bathroom including the wall to the shower. We replaced the out dated cabinets with new cherry stained cabinets with roll out shelves in all the lower cabinets.  The cabinet to the right of the vanity has a makeup drawer, a roll up door to hide the electrical items needed by the home owner and towel storage above that.  The tall cabinet is a place to hang her robe and night gown. We created a neo angle shower with a rain glass enclosure.  The owner loved the rain glass so much and all the light in the bathroom that she had us replaced the pocket door with a one light French door with the same rain glass as the shower enclosure.  Now even with the door closed the light (sun or moon light) twinkles into her bedroom. The finishing touches, granite counter & shower walls, nickel fixtures and tumbled marble tile floor make this space so beautiful that the homeowner never wants to leave.
